In most cases they were for banks and other financial corporations that could often not afford to own a computer.

While the idea of cloud computing was promising, the public did not yet have the resources for it to become a successful business.

Hybrid clouds can be troublesome because the company has to keep track of multiple platforms and make sure that they communicate with each other (Grove, 2012).

A cloud community occurs when multiple organizations share a cloud and agree to follow the same set of standards for using the cloud. In addition, a community cloud cuts down on costs.
